Very good spot. Drivers going slow because of a roundabout and you have a lot of space to stop because you are standing in a bus stop. Got a ride to Mostar in 15 minutes. Came right after church so cars just cleared up in the stop becaue for some reason they dont cre about busses being able to stop

Pretty nice spot with shade. This road is the best to get all the traffic going into Mostar. A bit of the hike up but its fine. Can be a better spot but shoudl do the job.

Stood on the intersection because two locals advised me too to catch also the traffic going from the town itself into direction of Dubrovnik. Not much traffic at the time so I could just stand kinda on the road and move to the side when needed. Didnt have hope after the whole day but a serbian guy was coming back from his epic trip on the islands picked me up because he drove past me on his bike while i was waiting. Had a great time with him. Drank some beers after in some random local pub. I changed my plans from going to dubrovnik to going to bosnia becauee i was sick of crotia. So my advice DONT HITCHHIKE IN CROTIA. HORRIBLE

Previous driver left me there and recommended this bus stop to hike. It's really good, a lot of traffic, good visibility, decent place to stop - classic hitchhiking

There is no good place for drivers to stop on this road. There is a barrier for like kilometers, so I used small crossroad and it worked good. I had sign Opuzen and I recommend it. It should be quite easy to get to main road in Opuzen and then you can go to Dubrovnik/Split

Good spot, probably it's hard to get through border, especially in off-season, but I easily get a ride almost to the border and then I crossed it by foot.

The gas station was closed and the fruit vendors didn't like us even sitting on 'their' parking.

Just right before the toll station. Cars are slow and plenty of place to stop. Not too much traffic.

A good spot with lots of traffic. There were lines of traffic at the toll booth so I walked along them and asked drivers. Someone took me half way to Dubrovnik. I should have waited for a lift the whole way - I'm sure I would have found one!

Not a great spot, gas station was closed. But if its open, i think still a good spot.

Good spot, lot of traffic and all. You can even buy drinks. Started asking around and they brought us to opuzen.

Quite some locals on this road in the direction of Neum and back. No shadow on this spot but when I was walking along the road, I went to a house to ask to fill my bottle and got a hand full of tomatoes from the very sweet lady. The family that picked me up with the car brought me right to the entrance of the train station!

Sign "Dubrovnik" got me a quick ride to Opuzen. It is a busy road and a good place to stop for cars!

Plenty of space for cars to pull over along the whole road. Decent amount of traffic as well.

Not so much traffic, but more than enough to get a quick ride to Buna.

I stood right behind the Croatian border and got a few people stopping. I walked there from Metković and got told by a border guard to go a bit behind the border station out of its sight. Rides to at least Mostar should be easy to get, I even got one all the way to Sarajevo.
